Brian Holloway is President of Holloway Land Company, a planning and entitlement consulting firm located in Sacramento, California.

He has over 35 years of public and private planning, community outreach, and development experience in California, managing the approval and construction of numerous projects. The firm has since completed successful projects as well.

Brian is also accomplished in the area of pre-development management. He has facilitated the approval of entitlements in Northern California for projects ranging in size from 5 acres to 8,000 acres. His management of large-scale projects, in excess of 700 acres, has been especially successful.

He has acted as project manager in each of the following projects: El Dorado Hills Specific Plan (Serrano), Tree Lake Village, Delta Shores Master Plan, Salmon Falls Hills – General Plan Amendment, Sunrise-Douglas Specific Plan, SunCreek Specific Plan, Jacinto Creek Planning Area, Sacramento Country Day School Master Plan, and 39 Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Markets in Northern California. He also handled the public and community outreach for the Sacramento Country Day School Expansion in Sacramento, CA., the approval of the Spring Lake Specific Plan in Woodland and the conversion of Sutter Memorial Hospital of Sacramento to an urban infill development and Assisted Living Senior Residence.

These are just some of the projects where Brian worked with the surrounding communities and has established himself as an expert able to balance community and policy issues resulting in a successful outcome for everyone.

Brian was a member and Past Chair of the Mayor’s Development Oversight Commission of the City of Sacramento, a member of the Development Oversight Committee of the County of Sacramento, and currently chairs the Sacramento County Subdivision Review Committee and the County Project Review Committee. He currently sits as a Director of the Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency and is an elected Trustee of the American River Flood Control Agency. He was the 2005-2006 President of the East Sacramento Chamber of Commerce and is the Past President of the 8,000-member Sacramento Association of Realtors. Brian was recently the Chairman of the Governor’s Capitol Area Committee and sits as Senate Speaker Pro Tempore de Leon’s representative on the California Commission on Disability Access.

Brian received his Master of City and Regional Planning at California State University, Fresno, his Bachelor of Arts from San Jose State University and received his Associate of Arts Degree from West Valley College in Saratoga California.
